If you legitimately think that you can get your family to come and play with you, have your friends over and have a great time.... then go for it. It does come iin handy in some cases. It is good at university, especially after a few drinks. However, my own Wii system has been largely underutilised. I think the price of games for the console is way too much also. I really like the wiisports, but in all fairness, I havent played on the system for over a year now. It just sits in my cupboard, collecting dust.
