A price tag of $1,500 would not make sense for the Playstation 4 - it would effectively outprice a large section of the intended market. How many parents can you see shelling out $1,500 for the new games console for their kid at Christmas, for example? It's just not going to happen, especially in the current economic climate.
Any price tag of more than $600 would be bad business sense IMO.
