2017? 2012 is realistic but not 2017. I would say 2012. If project cafe is much more powerful than the PS3 and 360 I think it would compel both Sony and Microsoft to update as well. Plus let's not hide the fact that compared to high end PCs the 360 and PS3 are behind ready in hardware. By 2017 they would be insanely outdated.
Actually I would even say by about 2017 we will have the ps5 or the ps5 will be announced or be close to announcement.
