So, do you own the Wii console? I myself don't own it since it feels like a gimmick to me. Unless Nintendo actually makes their console on-par with Sony's or Microsoft's, I won't buy it when the costs are nearly identical.

I have no idea where you can get a cheap wii. I would just scale the tough amazon listings, and maybe get one used. I own the console. I really enjoyed it at first but as time goes by, so does the amount of fun you have playing it. If you want to splash out and get all the small things that you can buy with it e.g. the driving wheel for games like Mario Kart, then it can be even more fun. However, I really don't think that we have used to enough to validate the amount we spent on the console and games altogether.

I used to have the Wii. I've given it to my sister, since I don't enjoy the games it offers.

I've never bought into the idea, honestly think it's just a novelty product and end users will get bored of it over time...

I also have it. I bought it when it was almost $400... Now it's $200.
I play it once and awhile but the graphics suck compared with the other consoles on the market. Plus games are $50-$100, the only games I play on the Wii are Wii Fit Plus, Wario Ware Smooth Moves,Super Smash Bros Brawl, Wii Sports!, and Modern Warfare Reflex. I got the wii for all the mario games that I grew up with, plus everyone was buying them in 2008/2009. My wii is also hacked, so I don't pay for games anymore. Somehow that makes game's so much more fun! |
