Playstation Move Inevitably Pushes Back Playstation 4 Release

The Playstation 4 Forums confirmed the as Fall 2010 – but what does this mean for the Playstation 4?

Without a doubt, the news of the Playstation Move release will excite Playstation gamers, and in reality, is almost sure to push back any release date of a PS4 console by several years. The Playstation Move device (controller?) places users right in the middle of the game action, something which has never been seen before – it enables the end user to play with a full axis spectrum. It’s a revolutionary device and has left most Playstation 3 gamers eagerly awaiting its fall release, and not even thinking of a Playstation 4.

Playstation Move

The Playstation Move essentially creates a whole new era for the Playstation 3 console and really demonstrates how much uncapped potential was (and perhaps still is) left in the PS3. With that thought in mind, it only seems right that any Sony PS4 console will be many years in the making yet, perhaps as far into the future as 2015.

How do you think this well effect the Playstation 4 release date? Have your say in the Playstation 4 Forums

I think that we might see slightly upgraded versions of the current consoles (bundled peripherals, HD/3D upgrades, etc.), but not full, new consoles yet.
